Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. rice... half cup
  2. moog.... 5 tablespoon
  3. chana dal... 5 tablespoon
  4. moong dal ....5 tablespoon
  5. tur dal ...5 tablespoon
  6. urad dal ... 5 tablespoon
  7. Black chana...5 tbspoon.
  8. curd... 1 cup
  9. seasam seed ...one teaspoon
  10. soda.... half teaspoon
  11. Cumin seed...half tspoon
  12. mustard seed... half teaspoon
  13. Asafoetida.... half teaspoon
  14. oil .....2 tbsp
  15. salt turmeric red chilli powder as per taste

Instructions

  1. soak rice and all pulses (dal) for 4 to 5 hours
  2. grind rice and all pulses in the mixer
  3. add 1 cup curd and grind it again
  4. take it in the bowl and add salt, turmeric and red chilli powder
  5. switch on the flame and put Idli pot on the flame
  6. add one glass of water cover it and let it for boiling
  7. now add soda in the mixture and mix it very properly
  8. fill the mixture in mini Idli mould
  9. put this mold in the pot and cover it
  10. Steam it for 10 to 12 minutes
  11. switch off the flame
  12. take out the Idli mould from the pot
  13. when it come in room temperature take out all the idlis from the mould
  14. now take a woke put it on the flame
  15. pour 2 tablespoon of oil
  16. add asafoetida, mustard seed ,cumin seed , and seasom seed
  17. after it crackling add red chilli powder
  18. put all the idlies in it
  19. and stir it properly and switch off the flame
