ABOUT Leftover Rice Kofta Curry RECIPE

Whenever you making kofta, that time make a little different type. Then try this rice kofta.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Kofta
  2. 1 cup leftover Rice
  3. 2 tbsp besan
  4. 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potato
  5. 1 onion finely chopped
  6. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  7. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil for Deep fry
  10. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  11. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  12. 1/2 tsp Chat masala
  13. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  14. Pinch of turmeric powder
  15. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  16. For Curry
  17. 2 medium size roughly chopped onion
  18. 1 medium size roughly chopped Tomato
  19. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  20. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  21. Salt to taste
  22. 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  23. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  24. 1/2 tsp Cumin and coriander powder each
  25. 2 bay leaf
  26. 1/2 tsp kasturi methi
  27. 1 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. For kofta :- take the mixing bowl add rice and mash it.
  2. Next add all masala ingredients except oil and mix well.
  3. Make a smooth dough, add water if needed.
  4. Take a small dough and make a small ball size.
  5. Heat the oil and deep fry in medium hot oil till they turns golden brown colour.
  6. For curry:- in a mixi jar add onion and tomato grind paste separately.
  7. Add oil in another pan, once oil is heat sufficiently, add bayleaf, onion and Ginger garlic paste fry 8 to 10 mins.
  8. Then add all dry spices masala powder and Tomato paste...
  9. Stir continue to fry the masala paste. Till it starts leaving oil from the sides.
  10. Add 2 cup water to the masala paste and stir and simmer for 10 to 12 mins.
  11. Lastly add the fried rice kofta.. finally add the chopped coriander leaves.
  12. Serve with roti, chapati or rice
