ABOUT Pasta Farfalle with Mutton Mince.. RECIPE

Indulge in this beautiful looking pasta in Hyderabadi style by me. As the saying goes, we Hydis just cannot conjure up a dish minus meat. Be it lamb or beef or chicken. It's a must in everything we cook and relish. This particular one is done with mutton mince, tomatoes and pretty much of veggies like green peas and capsicum. I love to whip up this beauty for dinner. Nevertheless it can be enjoyed at anytime, be it for breakfast or brunch or dinner. It tastes equally awesome. Happy Eating!

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. Pasta farfalle 650 gm
  2. Mutton mince 500 gm
  3. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  4. Tomatoes chopped 4-5
  5. Olive oil or canola oil 4-5 tbsp
  6. Onions chopped 2
  7. RED CHILLI POWDER 1 TBSP
  8. Garam masala homemade 1 tsp
  9. Coriander leaves chopped 1/2 cup
  10. Green peas boiled 1 cup
  11. Capsicum sliced 1-2
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Green chillies finely chopped 1-2

Instructions

  1. Bring water in a large vessel to a rolling boil at first.
  2. Add salt to it according to taste and cook pasta al dente.
  3. Drain and keep aside.
  4. In a non stick pot, heat oil and saute onions until light pink.
  5. Add ginger garlic paste and the mutton mince.
  6. Also add the green chillies, capsicum, green peas and the spices.
  7. Saute until 8 to 10 mins and then add the tomatoes.
  8. Cover and cook until done for about 15 minutes. After done, adjust salt accordingly and add the pasta to it.
  9. Mix well and garnish with lots of coriander.
  10. Serve hot immediately.
