This is a very addictive version of Haleem.Its little time consuming but its worth the efforts

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chicken mince 300grms
  2. Cloves 5 to 6
  3. Cardamom 5
  4. Cinnamon stick 2
  5. Salt 1 tsp
  6. INGRIDENTS FOR LENTILS
  7. Broken wheat 1/2 cup
  8. Black gram 1/4 cup
  9. Chana dal 1/8 th cup
  10. Tur dal 1/8 th cup
  11. Cashew 1/8 cup
  12. Cardamom 4
  13. Cinnamon 2
  14. Black pepper 1 tsp
  15. Cloves 4
  16. Shahi jeera 1/2 tsp
  17. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  18. INGRIDENTS FOR COOKING CHICKEN
  19. Red chilli pwdr 1 tsp
  20. Turmeric pwdr 1/2 tsp
  21. Ggpaste 1 tsp
  22. PureGhee 1/2 cup
  23. Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  24. Mint leaves 1/2 cup
  25. Salt as required
  26. GARNISH
  27. Fried onion birasta 1/2 cup
  28. Fried cashew nuts few
  29. Boiled eggs

Instructions

  1. PRESSURE COOKNTHE LENTILS Take the wheat,add allnthenlentils,add the cashew nuts,all the while spices mentioned
  2. Coarsely grind the above ingridents
  3. Add enough water and pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles
  4. Let the pressure release on its own
  5. PRESSURE COOK MINCE CHICKEN
  6. Add the chicken in the pressure cooker
  7. Add water just till the level of the chicken
  8. Add the dry spices
  9. Pressure cook till 6 to 7 whistles
  10. COOKING CHCIKEN AND LENTIL TOGTHER
  11. Open both the pressure cookers
  12. Transfer the lentil mix into the chicken
  13. Mix and add the ggpaste and the dry spices
  14. Add the ghee ans rhe greens too
  15. Add 1 cup water and cook on low flame for 30 to 40 mins
  16. Keep stirring in between
  17. Remove the daleem in a bowl and garnish it with fried onions,boiled eggs and cashews
  18. Serve hot
