Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oil 1 small bowl (katori)
  2. Water 1.5 small bowl
  3. Garlic paste 1tsp
  4. Carom seeds 1 tsp
  5. Asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder 1tsp
  7. Turmeric powder 1tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Besan 1 bowl (around 200 gms)
  10. Oil for frying
  11. Chaat masala for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Take 1 katori oil and 1.5 katori water and blend it with hand blender.
  2. Take 1 mixing bowl add besan,red chilli powder,turmeric ,salt,garlic paste,carom seeds,asafoetida and oil-water mixture.mix it well.
  3. Add some more water if required. Make batter/dough.
  4. Add hot oil from frying pan and mix it well.
  5. Take batter/dough into a gathiya maker (sancha).
  6. Make gathiya in hot oil using gathiya maker.
  7. Fry it from both sides properly till it get pink colour.
  8. Take them on absorbent paper , sprinkle chaat masala.
  9. Serve it with tea or coffee.
