ABOUT Lasaniya Bhindi RECIPE

Bhindi with garlic flavor, a perfect side dish for some dal rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Bhindi 250gm
  2. 2 medium size onions, cut into long pieces
  3. 10-15 garlic cloves,
  4. 1tsp jeera
  5. 1tsp red chilli powder
  6. 1tsp turmeric powder
  7. 1tsp coriander powder
  8. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  9. 1 pinch hing
  10. 1/2 tsp amchur powder
  11. 2 green chillies cut into small pieces
  12. 1tablespoon oil for frying
  13. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the bhindi nicely otherwise it will become sticky.
  2. Cut it into round pieces and keep for atleast 3 hours in refrigerator in an air tight container
  3. Heat oil in a pan
  4. Add jeera and hing
  5. Now add onions and stir fry till light golden brown
  6. Now add garlic cloves and green chillies
  7. Again cook it for 2min
  8. Now add bhindi and cook for 5-10 min
  9. Remember to stir after every 1-2 min to avoid sticking to pan
  10. When bhindi becomes soft then add red chilli powder , turmeric powder, coriander powder, amchur powder ,garam masala powder and salt to taste
  11. Stir evenly and cook for 5 min.
  12. Lasuniya bhindi is ready to serve
