Put the 1 and 1/2 tspn yeast into a bowl then add 1/2 cup warm milk and 1 tspn suger, stir to mix and set aside for 10 mnts to let the yeast activate

Cover with lid and let the dough rest for 30 - 40 mnts or till double size (depending on the room temperature)
The dough should be double size after resting
Flour the surface of kneading top and knead with hands for 8-10 mnts. Dough will become even more soft and smooth

Cut into 5 pieces with a bowl
Arrange 5 in a line , overlapping one another and using a fork , press lightly at overlapping parts
Roll up from 1 end
Roll slightly
Cut into equal halves
Place rolls in a large bowl . cover and let rise for 20 - 30 mnts.
Grease the steamer with butter
Place the steamer
Steam over high heat for 15 mnts
Wait 3-5 mnts after turning off the heat to take out the buns
