In winters singri come in abundance which are the shoots of radish and are very healthy and tasty

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Singri 250 gram
  2. Potatoes 2 big size
  3. Onion 1 big size
  4. Tomato 2 medium size
  5. Green chillies 2
  6. Ginger 1 inch
  7. Oil 2 tablespoons
  8. Heeng 1/4 teaspoon
  9. Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Coriander powder 2 teaspoon
  11. Red pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Clean and chopped singri into small pieces
  2. Peel and chopped potatoes into small pieces
  3. Chopped onion and tomatoes too
  4. Now heat the oil
  5. Add heeng and cumin seeds
  6. Add chopped onions followed by tomatoes,green chillies and ginger
  7. Add all the spices
  8. Add chopped potatoes and singri
  9. Cover with a lid and cook at slow flame till soft
  10. Fry well to remove extra moisture
  11. Turn off the flame
  12. Serve hot with chapati
