ABOUT Winter Thali Recipe RECIPE

This traditional thali contains Mooli ka paratha , Chokha fry , Green Chutney and raita. As Radish tastes very good in winter seasons so its the best time to prepare this thali and the best part of this paratha is its without stufging recipe so worry of getting teared. It can be enjoyed different varieties of chutnies and chokhas..so lets start the recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour 1 cup
  2. Radish 2 nos
  3. Green chilies 4
  4. Coriander leaves
  5. turmeric powder 1/2 tbs
  6. Red chili powder 1 tbs
  7. Carom seeds 1/2 tbs
  8. Salt to taste
  9. For Chokha:
  10. Boiled potato 6
  11. Chopped onion 1
  12. Tomato 1
  13. Green chilies 4
  14. Masturd seeds for tempering
  15. Turmeric powder 1 tbs
  16. Red chili powder 1/2 tbs
  17. Coriander powder 1/2 tbs
  18. Salt to taste
  19. For chutney :
  20. Coriander leaves 1 cup
  21. Green chilies 4
  22. Garlic 4 Cloves
  23. Lemon juice 1 tbs
  24. Cumin seeds 1 tbs
  25. black salt to taste
  26. Raita
  27. yoghurt 1 cup
  28. Roasted cumin powder 1/2 tbs
  29. Red chili powder 1/2 tbs
  30. black salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Grate the radish and add salt and kep aaide for 15 minutes.
  2. Next gently sqeeze the radish to remove the water.
  3. Next take the radish in abowl thrn add green chilies, coriander leaves, turmeric powder , red chili powder , salt and carrom seeds.
  4. Now add wheat flour and 1 tbs oil. Combine well then knead to make a semi soft dough.
  5. Start rolling the chapaties.
  6. Next preheat the pan and place the chapaties.
  7. Add little oil/ghee to the parathas and make it brown from both the sides.
  8. Next preheat the pan with mustard oil then add masturd seeds and green chilies.
  9. Next add chopped onion and tomato and saute well.
  10. Add all dry spices and mix well for 5 minutes until oil separates.
  11. Next add boil potato and saute well until all the masala and potato get combined.Keep it aside.
  12. Take a mixir jar and start adding coriander leaves, garlic, green chilies, black salt and cumin seeds.
  13. Grind into fine paste. Your green chutney is ready.
  14. Next in a bowl add yoghurt, black salt , roasted cumin powder , red chili powder and mix well.
  15. Your Raita is ready to serve.
