ABOUT Pumpkin chutney RECIPE

It is very easy and nice flavourable chutney.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup chopped pumpkin
  2. 3 dried red chilli
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 2 tsp oil
  5. 1 tsp chana daal
  6. 1 tsp urad daal
  7. 1/2 cup coconut fresh or dessicated
  8. Small size tamarind
  9. 1 tsp jaggery
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

Instructions

  1. In a plate take all ingredients ready to making chutney.
  2. In wide pan add chopped pumpkin and water . And cover boil it 5 minutes. After boiling keep a side
  3. Next in the same pan add 2 tsp oil .once the oil heat sufficiently.add chana and urad daal saute till they turn golden brown colour. Then add dried red chilli saute for a seconds.
  4. Further all fried ingredients cool completely and transfer to the grinder after add tamarind jaggery turmeric salt to taste little water.
  5. Next grind the mixture coarsely.
  6. Finally pumpkin chutney is ready to serve. Serve with dosa, rice, chapati etc
