Gooseberry (amla) pickle is an sour & tangy tongue- tickler pickle which is ideal to serve with any meal. It is made from boiled gooseberry by adding few spices in them.
Wash amlas. Add in to enough water and Cook them for 5 minutes.
Drain the water and let them cool completely.
Heat oil in a pan until on smoking point.
Add ginger garlic in it and saute for two minutes.
Add Asafoetida, salt and pepper, turmeric powder, amlas and green chillies in it. Mix well and cook for two minutes.
Switch off the flame. It's ready.
Store in a air tight container.
