Whole moong dal paranthas,one of my favorite recipes from childhood again. Healthy and nutritious for a filling breakfast.
Wash and soak the whole moong dal for 2 hours at least.
For the dough take wheat flour and salt in a bowl and make a dough with water.
Pressure cook the dal for 3-4 whistles with little water till soft and separate.
Let it cool ,then add chopped onion,green chilli, coriander leaves and salt and mix well.
Take a small ball of dough and fill it with dal filling.
Roll into parantha.
Heat a tawa and shallow fry the paranthas with ghee or oil.
Serve hot with curd or papad.
