ABOUT Aata Halwa (Kada Prasad) RECIPE

It is healthy as made of wheat flour and it is filling, we Sikh's make it as a prasad.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup wheat flour (Atta)
  2. 1 cup sugar
  3. 1/2 cup ghee
  4. 2 1/2 cup water
  5. Dry fruits as per wish

Instructions

  1. In a pan, put ghee. Let it melt.
  2. Add aata and roast it well till it changes color and the aroma comes. Add water slowly then add sugar and stir continously so there are no lumps. Cook it on simmered flame. Keep stirring till it leaves ghee from the sides.
  3. Top with dry fruits and sever hot.
