Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1cup refined flour
  2. 200gm boiled potato
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1/4tbsp carom seeds
  5. 3tbsp oil
  6. 3 to 4 tbsp green peas
  7. 2 to 3tbsp green coriander
  8. 2finely chopped green chilli
  9. 1inch grated ginger
  10. 1/4tbsp red chilli powder
  11. 1/4tbsp fennal powder
  12. 1/2tbsp coriander powder
  13. 1/2tbsp dry mango powder
  14. 1/4tbsp baking powder
  15. 1/4tbsp garam masala

Instructions

  1. 1) take refined flour in a mixing bowl add oil to it.
  2. 2) add salt,carom seeds ,baking powder mix all ingredients well.add water in small portions and make soft dough.do not squash it too much.cover and keep the dough for 10min.
  3. 3) for stuffing in a heated pan add oil ginger paste,green chilli, slightly roast these. Add green peas cover and cook 2min.keep flame low
  4. 4) take boiled potatoes mash them well,add them too and Fennel seeds powder,garam masala mix all mash, potatoes and cook for 2min.
  5. 5) add salt green coriander mix all ingredients.once stuffing is ready take out a bowl keep to cool.
  6. 6) break dough into lumps,lift a dough ball, expand it and the stuffing close it.fill all kachoris likewise
  7. 7) to roast the kachoris heat the appam pan,keep flame to minimum put some oil in the moulds place the kachori to roast .put few drops oil over ti too.
  8. 8) cover it keep flame minimum and check after 3min.then flip these.cover and cook until golden brown then cook a pan.slightly increase the flame roast them turn off the flame.
  9. 9) less than oil kachori is ready to be served with green chutney and sauce
