It is a lightly spiced and aromatic stew with mixed vegetables and coconut milk.It is a popular stew from the Kerala cuisine
Heat oil in a pot. Add cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves and black pepper. Saute for a couple of minutes.
Add the ginger, garlic, green chilies, sliced onions and curry leaves. Saute till the onions become tender.
Add all the chopped vegetables and stir well.
Add thin coconut milk. Cover the pan and cook till vegetables are tender and done.
Add the thick coconut milk, stir well and simmer for a minute.
Heat oil in a kadai and fry curry leaves till crisp. Season the stew with this.
Serve kerala style vegetable stew with rice or appams.
