Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. All purpose flour (maida) 1 bowl
  2. Coconut grated 2 bowls
  3. Sugar 1/2 bowl
  4. Raisin (kismis)
  5. oil
  6. Khoya or condensed milk 50 gm
  7. Green cardamom powder 1 tspn
  8. Water for preparing batter

Instructions

  1. Make a filling - in a pan add grated coconut, half of the sugar, khoya or condensed milk, raisin and stir slowly. When the sugar melts and the coconut leaves the side of the pan, the filling is ready. Keep writing so that the coconut doesn't stick to the pan and gives a burning smell. Remove the filling from pan and add the cardamom powder and mix.
  2. Batter - in a bowl take all purpose flour, water and rest of the sugar and mix it properly. Leave the batter to rest for 5 mnts. The consistency of the batter should neither be too thick nor too liquidy.
  3. In a non stick pan take very little oil. Now with a serving spoon make small pancake or chapati like spread.
  4. Brown it a little from both side.
  5. Remove from pan. Make all the spreads together and let it cool
  6. Now take 2 spoon of the filling and keep it on the side of the spread longwise and roll it.
  7. Follow the same process for all
  8. Garnish it with powdered sugar
