Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Parwal 1/2 kg
  2. khoya 200 gm
  3. Sugar 200 gm
  4. Grounded sugar 2-3 teaspoons ( optional)
  5. Nuts ( inc cardamon, saffron)
  6. Water 200 ml

Instructions

  1. Peel the parval with a peeler and make a cut ensuring the ends are not loose
  2. Put this in boiling water for 10-12 mins (cover with lid for 2-3 mins). Total 15 mins.
  3. Strain the parval and scoop out the seeds from the parval
  4. Take 200 grams of water and put sugar (200 grams) and after first boil, put the whole parval in the syrup at slow flame. When it's colour changes to translucent, take out the parval carefully.
  5. Let it cool for sometime
  6. Now prepare for stuffing - put the khoya in the pan and heat for 5 mins.
  7. Add dry fruits and nuts to it and let it cool. Additionally you can also add grounded sugar for extra sweetness after it cools down.
  8. Now fill parval with khoya carefully. You can also use silver verk / paper to decorate. It is ready to be served.
