Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Methi leaves 1 bunch
  2. Onions 3 medium finely chopped
  3. Rice powder as required
  4. Red chilli powder 1tbsp
  5. Besan 1tbsp
  6. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak methi leaves in salt water for 10 minutes and then wash thoroughly with running water. Chop them finely and add to a bowl.
  2. Add onions, salt and red Chilli powder to the bowl, mix well and keep for 10 minutes.
  3. Add rice powder and besan and mix well. Add very little water just for bonding as methi leaves leave water. Adjust besan and rice powder as per the consistency.
  4. Make lemon sized balls and slightly press in the center like a tikki. Deep fry in oil.
  5. Serve hot.
