ABOUT Corn oats tikki RECIPE

As we all know oats are a great source of nutrition. Last time I made yummy masala oats with veggies. Last sunday I tried a new recipe. Would like to share. Please try and let me know the feedback.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 6 boiled and mashed potatoes
  2. 2 to 3 bowl boiled and grinded corn niblets
  3. 1 cup oats
  4. 1 cup poha (flattened rice flakes)
  5. 1/2 bowl chopped onions
  6. 1/2 bowl chopped cabbage
  7. 1/2 bowl chopped carrots
  8. 1/2 bowl chopped capsicum
  9. Chopped coriander leaves
  10. Chopped curry leaves
  11. 2 teaspoon red chili powder
  12. 1 teaspoon garam masala
  13. 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  14. 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  15. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  16. 2 spoon ginger+garlic+ green chillies+ coriander leaves paste
  17. 2 teaspoon shezwan chutney
  18. 1 Teaspoon oregano
  19. For dipping
  20. Bread crumbs+poha crumbs

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients together and mix it well. Remember do not mash it for more time otherwise the mixture will get smooth and it will be hard to make proper tikkis.
  2. Once you mixed it all together, make small balls and press them gently.
  3. Then dip the tikkis in bread and poha crumb. If you want you can also add fine sev in it.
  4. Heat oil in the pan. Shallow fry the tikkis and transfer them to tissue paper to absorb extra oil. Serve hot with green chutney or tomato sauce.
