Kheersha pointed gourd is a famous dessert in banglay cuisine,it is popular as well in northern part of India also.i tried to create a twist with Hershey s chocolate syrup.with a richest filling of mawa,khoya chopped dry fruits & pointed gourd softly candid on sugar syrup.so ,while having a bite it is just divine.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pointed gourd 10 pcs
  2. Soda bi carbonate 1/8 tsp
  3. For Sugar Syrup:
  4. Sugar 1/2 cup sugar
  5. 1/2 cup water
  6. 1 tsp lamon juice
  7. Cinamon stick 2
  8. Cardamom 2
  9. For stuffing:
  10. Hershey's chocolate syrup 1/4 cup
  11. Mawa/khoya 1 cop greated
  12. Milk powder 1/4 cup
  13. Liquid milk 3 tbs
  14. Condensed milk 4 tbs
  15. Semolina 2 tbs
  16. Cardamom Powder 1/4 tsp
  17. Crushed almond 8 pcs
  18. Pistachio 8 chopped
  19. Cherry for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Peel off ,wash thoroughly all pointed gourd.cut lengthwise.
  2. Remove seeds from center very carefully.
  3. Blunch pointed gourd for ,3 minutes adding soda bi carbonate on 2 cups of boiling water .
  4. Make one string sugar syrup adding water, sugar, lamon juice, whole cinamon & cardamom.
  5. Add blunched pointed gourd on sugar syrup.let it be softly candid for 5-8 minutes.
  6. Stir constantly pointed gourds to absorb sugar syrup evenly and not to be burn.once it's done keep aside for cooling down.
  7. Add 1 tbs ghee on a non sticky pan.add grated mawa.samolina stir fry for few minutes.
  8. Add liquid milk, Powder milk, condensed milk, cardamom powder.
  9. Add Hershey's chocolate syrup and mix well.
  10. Add almonds, pistachios,stir constantly once it will get a dough form.chocolate kheersha stuffing is ready.remove from heat.
  11. Stuff candid pointed gourd with chocolate kheersha stuffing.
  12. Garnish with pistachios flacks,red cherry.keep in Refrigerator for a several hour.serve chilled. And enjoy ..
