Corn Fritters with Hung Curd Dip

ABOUT Corn Fritters with Hung Curd Dip RECIPE

A perfect tea-time snack that you can prepare very easily. It has a perfect combination of herbs and chilli. When dipped in hung curd dip, it tastes more fabulous!

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup sweet corn kernels
  2. 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  3. 1 teaspoon corn flour
  4. 1/3 cup plain flour (maida)
  5. 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  6. 1 teaspoon dried basil
  7. 1/2 teaspoon chili paprika
  8. 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 4 tablespoons olive oil
  11. 1/2 cup hung curd
  12. 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  13. 1/4 cup Milk
  14. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine flours, parsley, basil, 1/4 teaspoon paprika powder, salt to taste and milk. Make a pouring consistency batter.
  2. Add corn kernels(boiled), 1 chopped green chilli and chopped onions and give it a good mix. If you feel the mixture is a little thick then add some more milk to it.
  3. Add 3 tablespoons olive oil and baking powder and keep it aside for 5 minutes.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and drizzle olive oil on it. Place a tablespoon full of mixture and using the back of a spoon make it flat from top. Cook on both sides until crispy.
  5. Take hung curd in a bowl and add 1 green chilli chopped, 1/4 teaspoon chili paprika powder, salt to taste and lemon juice. Mix it well.
  6. Serve hot fritters with hung curd dip and enjoy!
