ABOUT Mirchi ka Salan RECIPE

It's came from H'Bad.. a side dish which go perfect with Biryani.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Mirch-4 to 6, slightly cut from middle
  2. 2 tbsp Peanuts- finely crushed
  3. 1 red Tometo-
  4. 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  5. 2 Bay leaf
  6. 8-10 Curry leaves
  7. 2 tbsp fresh curd
  8. 2 pinch hing
  9. 1 finely chopped Onion
  10. 1 tsp Sugar
  11. Salt as per taste
  12. 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  13. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  14. 1 tsp dhaniya powder
  15. 1 cup Oil
  16. 1 tsp seasme powder

Instructions

  1. First heat oil in a wok & deep fried green chillies till tender, sprinkle some salt & keep aside
  2. Now in the same oil ,add Hing,bay leaf,ginger garlic paste,Cumin & musterd seeds & roast untill raw aroma goes.
  3. Now add onion & tometo paste, peanut,seasme powder, roast till next 3-4 mins on slow flame
  4. Once masala cooked & raw aroma goes off,then add red chilli powder,turmaric powder,dhaniya powder,salt & sugar.mix well
  5. Add curd & some water & cook untill little oil sperate from masala.
  6. Now add fried green chillies & cook for another 2-3 min.
  7. Turn off the gas & serve spicy hot Mirchi ka salan with biryani.
