Firstly wash and peel the bottle gourd and cut in to small pieces
Heat a pan,add 2 table spoons oil in to it
Add mustard and cumin seeds in to it
Once it pops out, add green chillies to it and fry them
Now add bottle gourd pieces and mix it by adding salt to it
Add water and cook the pieces well
Now add shredded fresh coconut to it.
Mix it well and turn off the stove
Allow it to cool
Take this in to a mixie jar and grind it in to a coarse paste
Now take this chutney in to a bowl and add fresh curd in to it
Mix it well
Now heat a pan for tempering and add oil to it
Add mustard,cumin,black gram,curry leaves and asafoetida to it
Add this tempering to the bottle gourd curd chutney and mix it
Bottle gourd sasive is ready to serve
