ABOUT Steamed Veg Manchurian RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. For manchurian :Shredded cabbage -1 cup
  2. Shredded carrots -3/4 cup
  3. Small Sliced onions -1/2 cup
  4. Green onions (optional)
  5. Chopped ginger-1/4 tsp
  6. Chopped garlic -1/4 tsp
  7. Green chilles-1/2 tsp
  8. Salt -1/2 Tsp
  9. Black pepper -1/4 tsp
  10. Cornflour as needed.
  11. For gravy: chopped ginger -1/4 tsp
  12. Oil- 1 tbsp
  13. Chopped garlic -1/2 tsp
  14. Salt according to taste
  15. Soya sauce-1 tbsp
  16. Cornflour -1 tbsp
  17. Green chillies -1/2 tsp
  18. Water or vegetable stock - 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Squeeze the excess moisture from shredded cabbage and carrots.
  2. Now mix all the ingredients including cornflour. Add cornflour according to the batter just to bind the Manchurian.
  3. Make small dumplings.
  4. And steam it for 10 minutes on medium flame.
  5. Now take a pan and add oil.
  6. Add ginger, garlic, green chillies and saute.
  7. Add water /veg. stock and let it simmer.
  8. After that add salt,black pepper and soya sauce and mix it and let it simmer over high flame.
  9. Now add cornflour mixed in water and mix it fast.
  10. The gravy will turn thick enough.
  11. Before serving add steamed Manchurian and give it a boil.
  12. The steamed Manchurian is ready .
