ABOUT Quinoa tomato pulao RECIPE

It is a quick one pot meal. loaded with the goodness of quinoa, veggies and paneer . combination of tomato and chilly gives it a favolous tangy and spicy taste.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1/2 cup quinoa
  2. one medium sized onion
  3. one small capsicum
  4. 2 large tomatoes
  5. 1-2 green chillies
  6. 1-2 tablespoon cashew
  7. 1/4 cup boiled green peas
  8. 1/4 cup paneer
  9. 1-2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  10. 1/2 table spoon turmeric powder
  11. 1/2 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilly powder
  12. 1-2 tablespoon sweet and spicy sauce
  13. 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
  14. salt and sugar as per taste
  15. oil 2-3 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. soak quinoa for 1/2 an hour.
  2. pressure cook quinoa with double amount water till 2 whistle
  3. chopped onion, capsicum, tomato , cashew and green chillies. cut paneer into small cubes.
  4. heat oil and fry onion till translucent.Add chopped green chillies also.
  5. add cashew and fry till little brown
  6. add capsicum and peas. fry for few minutes
  7. add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and chilli powder.
  8. fry till the raw smell of ginger garlic gone. add tomatoes , little salt and sugar.
  9. cover and cook till the tomatoes are mushy. then add sweet and spicy sauce and give it a good mix.
  10. add garam masala powder and paneer cubes and mix it.
  11. add boiled quinoa
  12. mix thoroughly so that it is well coated with all the spices .
  13. serve hot quinoa tomato pulao with salad or curd
