ABOUT BANANNA SKIN PALAK HALWA!!! RECIPE

Something weird !!!! Right Yes i used left over bananna skin along with little palak to make delicious halwa... Banana peels are also rich sources of potassium and contain much more soluble and insoluble fiber than their flesh. Dietary fiber promotes digestion and bowel movements and can reduce blood cholesterol levels. my little daughter loved the flavour n smell... you dont find any smell of palak or skin...

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Bananna skin- 100grms (or 21/2half big banana skin)
  2. Palak cleaned n chopped- 25grams
  3. Sugar- 75 grams
  4. Drygrapes n Cashew chopped - 1tbspn.
  5. Cardmon - a pinch
  6. Vannila essense- 1/4tsp
  7. Ghee- 30 grams +1tsp
  8. Corn flour-11/2 mix with water to make smooth mixture.

Instructions

  1. Wash left over banana peel and chop it throw the both end part.
  2. Add water in vessel bring to boil and add chopped peel and cook till it turns soft. (Almost all water absorbed)
  3. Now strain extra water and add chopped palak n banana peel in mixer n make a smooth paste.(sprinkle little water once not add much water)
  4. Now add ghee in heavy bottom pan and add ghee when hot fry drygrapes n cashew and keep aside.
  5. Now add paste mixture and sugar to pan on cook on low flame adding cardmon powder.
  6. Cook well till raw smell goes off.
  7. Once almost done add cornflour paste and mix well until you get halwa consistency.
  8. At this stage add roasted drygrapes n cashew vennila essense mix well n atlast add 1tsp of ghee n transfer it to a bowl n wait until it cools completely and serve.
  9. Cut using greased knife once cooled.
