Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Amaranth leaves.... 1 bunch
  2. Moong dhuli daal....1 cup
  3. Ginger....1" piece
  4. Salt and green chillies to taste
  5. Desi ghee....1 table spoon
  6. Turmeric powder....1/4 tea spoon
  7. Red chilly powder...1/2 tea spoon

Instructions

  1. Soak moong dhuli for half an hour
  2. Chop saag finely after washing them
  3. In a cooker, heat ghee, add ginger, green chillies, red chilly powder and let it cook for a while
  4. Now add daal, saag, salt, turmeric powder and 4 cups of water and cook to 2 whistles
  5. Let the pressure releases of its own
  6. Enjoy simple sabji with daal , which is good for any aged group of persons
