Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Banana stem 1/2
  2. Curd 1cup
  3. Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  4. Salt
  5. Tempering :
  6. Mustard seeds 1/2tsp
  7. Redchilli 1
  8. Curry leaves 1sprig
  9. Coconut oil or any other 2tsp
  10. Onion 1chopped
  11. Tomato small 1
  12. To Grind :
  13. Jeera 1tsp
  14. Garlic 2 pieces
  15. Green chilli 3
  16. Ginger one inch
  17. Raw rice 1/2tsp
  18. Coconut 1/4cup
  19. Coriander seeds 1 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Grind the given ingredients under grind column to a paste with water
  2. In a bowl whisk curd add turmeric and salt
  3. In a cooker add the chopped banana stem (remove the fibre as much as while chopping by slicing and dicing them think) with little water for 2whistles or until soft
  4. Let the banana stem cool
  5. Add the cooled banana stem and the ground paste to curd mix
  6. Don't add it hot or it will curdle
  7. In a pan add the tempering ingredients
  8. Add the chopped onion and saute well then add tomato and saute that too
  9. Simmer the stove and add the whole mixture
  10. Let it simmer for few minutes or just a light boil.keep stirring
  11. Switch off stove
