Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 grams paneer
  2. 1/2 cup of butter
  3. 2 cloves
  4. 1 cinnamon stick
  5. 4 green cardamom
  6. 1table spoon coriander seeds
  7. 1/2 a spoon cumin seeds
  8. 2 bay leafs
  9. 1 finely chopped onion
  10. 1 table spoon ginger garlic paste
  11. 1 table spoon garam masala
  12. 1/2 cup of dried rose petals
  13. 1/2 cup fresh curd
  14. 1 finely chopped tomato
  15. 2 table spoon red chilli powder
  16. 1/2 a cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  17. Salt as per taste
  18. Fresh rose petals for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Cut paneer in cubes
  2. Spread red chilli powder over it and keep aside for 10 minutes
  3. In a pan heat butter and fry marinated paneer untill become golden brown
  4. Heat the butter in another pan, add cinnamon stick, cloves, green cardamom, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and bay leaves
  5. When splutter add finely chopped onion and saute
  6. Add ginger garlic paste mix it well
  7. Add finely chopped tomato and garam masala, mix it well
  8. Now add salt and dried rose petals
  9. Add fresh curd and stir it, cook it for 5 minuts in low flame
  10. Add 2 cup of water mix well and cover the lid, cook for atleast 5 minute
  11. Open the lid and add paneer mix it and add finely chopped coriander leaves
  12. Garnish with fresh rose petals
  13. Serve hot with chapaties, and parathas
  14. Enjoy the delicious taste of paneer kundan kaliyan
