Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 2 cups maida
  2. 1 + 1/2 cup water
  3. 1 tsp sugar
  4. 2 tbsp Oil
  5. 2 tbsp honey
  6. 2 tsp yeast
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 1/2 cup spicy coriander chutney

Instructions

  1. Warm the water, add sugar and yeast and leave aside for 5 minutes. In a big bowl take the flour, add oil, honey and salt. Add the yeast water and mix well to form a soft dough and knead the dough for 10 minutes. Place it in an oiled pan covered with a damp cloth for 2 hours.
  2. After 2 hours take the dough and divide it into half. Out of first half make 5 equal balls. Out of the other half make 3 balls.
  3. Roll the first 5 balls and layer them one over the other. Apply any green chutney in between each layer. Now cut these stack from the inside in 6 equal portions such that the edges are intact.
  4. Now gently pull the cut portions over rim as shown in the picture. Now out of the 3 balls take 2 and make 4 smaller discs and repeat the process. Take the last ball and place it in the middle, brush it with water and sprinkle some seeds of ur choice.
  5. Bake for 30 mins at 170 degrees.
