This is traditional recipe of punjab.. I make it with some twist.. In resturants the only blanch spinch buy i make it by boilng.. Method

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Palak (spinach) 1kg or 2 bundles
  2. Chana dal 1 bowl
  3. Ginger galic paste 2tsp
  4. Salt as per taste
  5. Onion chopped two
  6. Tomato two medium size
  7. Green chilly 2-3
  8. Red chilly powder 1tsp
  9. Oil/ dest ghee 3-4 tsp
  10. Turmaric 1tsp
  11. Water 2ltr.. As deisred
  12. Pneer 250gm

Instructions

  1. Get the indgridiants ready Wash the spinach and chop roughly and boil it with soaked chana dal in a presser cooker add add palak and chana dal and some salt and boil it for 10-15 min..add one and half ltr water in it while boiling ... add green chilly ginger garlic in it while boiling
  2. after 15min grind spinach in mixer and make paste
  3. Now get ready all indgridients for tadka and . Chop onion and tomato first and ..in a wok add two tsp of ghee and put onion and 1tso ginger garlic paste and cook it till get brown. Then add chopped tomato and cook for another 1-2min and add red chilly powder turmeric powder and then add mashed spinach in it.. It u need add some water in it. And cook for 1-2min
  4. Now add pneer cubes in spinach
  5. Serve it with makki ki roti or simple chpati /prantha
