Soft and yummy sweet made out of maida and soaked in sugar syrup.

In a bowl add flour,butter,oil,soda and sugar.
Mix them to form crumbs.
Add water little by little and knead for 10 minutes to a soft dough.
Keep it covered for 15 minutes.
In a vessel add water and sugar ,place on medium flame.
Once the sugar melts,let it boil for 5 minutes.
Add saffron strands and lemon juice,switch of the flame.
Make lemon sized balls out of the dough,roll smooth without cracks.
Make a dint with your thumb on each ball.
Place a shallow pan with ghee or oil on medium low flame.
Once hot reduce it to low flame.
Slip in the badusha,few at a time,cook on low flame golden brown on both sides.
Remove and drop into the sugar syrup,let soak for 5 minutes.
Remove and place on a plate.
Repeat this with the remaining pieces.
Soft yummy badusha is ready to serve.
