Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour 2 cups
  2. Salt 1 tsp
  3. Oil 1 tsp
  4. grated cabbage 1/2
  5. Chopped capsicum 1/4 cup
  6. Chopped carrot 1/4 cup
  7. Chopped ginger 1/4 tsp
  8. Chopped garlic 1/4 tsp
  9. Chili sauce 1 tsp
  10. Soy Sauce 1 tsp
  11. Tomato Ketchup 1 Tbsp
  12. black pepper powder 1 tsp
  13. Ajinomotto a pinch
  14. Oil 4 tbsp

Instructions

  1. In a bowl , mix maida, salt and oil. Add adequate water and knead smooth soft dough
  2. Rest dough for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in non stick pan, saute chopped ginger garlic for few seconds.
  4. Ad cabbage, capsicum and carrot. Saute for 1 minute
  5. Add all sauces, black pepper powder, ajinomotto and salt. Mix well and switch off the heat
  6. Let the mixture cool completely.
  7. Now punch dough for few seconds. Divide it into equal portions and roll into small puris
  8. Add the stuffing in pooris and shape momo as desired
  9. Steam momos until done. Heat 2 tbsp oil and shallow fry till crisp.
  10. Serve hot with schezwan sauce.
