Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Curd 1/4 cup
  2. Lemon juice 3 drops
  3. Baking powder 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Pinch Of Baking Soda
  5. Cardamom 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Saffron strands Few
  7. Pinch of salt
  8. Sugar 1 cup
  9. Pistachio 1 tablespoon
  10. Ghee 1/4 cup
  11. Water 16 tablespoon
  12. Maida 2 cups

Instructions

  1. For the sugar syrup. Take a pan and add 1 cup water , 2 cups sugar and cardamom .Let it boil well. It should be very syrupy. Add lemon juice after it boils. Keep it aside
  2. For the dough; Put the dry ingredients together and then the water and ghee ,knead well. Add water if necessary. Knead it and keep it for about 10 minutes
  3. Now shape the bhalushai balls and press it lightly so that we can place a pista later on.
  4. Heat the oil in pan and fry them in low heat . It should cook thoroughly. Remove it from oil once they become golden brown.
  5. Now put them in sugar syrup for about half an hour. Garnish with pistachio and serve.
