ABOUT Mango Phirni RECIPE

Mangoes are seasonal but still not seasonal rage Hence make this even wen mango season goes as mango pulp are always available.Soaked basmati rice ground little coarse, though. Cook ground rice in milk with some sugar, cardomom and then blend in mango ras in it when cool.Mix well and immediately pour out in desired flat containers.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 100 grams rice bastmati tukda
  2. 100 grams sugar
  3. 1/2 litre milk
  4. 1 cup mango aamras/pulp
  5. Dry fruits to garnish
  6. 1/2tspn cardomom seeds

Instructions

  1. Soak Rice for about 4-6 hours
  2. Remove water grind coarse
  3. Keep all ingredients ready
  4. 1/2 litre milk,1cup sugar,1cup ground rice
  5. Now heat milk slowly add ground rice ,stirring continuously
  6. Now wen rice gets cooked in about 8-10 minutes add sugar
  7. Add cardamom seeds here mix well
  8. 5 minutes stirring ,check sugar is well mixed and close gas
  9. Cool to room temperature,add the mango pulp then
  10. Mix well cool and pour out in phirni plates as desired
  11. Garnish with almonds and pistachios
