ABOUT Mango Crumble Cake RECIPE

Little different but a unique cake for mango lovers.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 Mangoes ( cut into small, thin pieces)
  2. 1 eggs
  3. 1 tsp mango or vanilla essence
  4. 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  5. 1/4+1/8cup oil
  6. 1 cups flour (maida)
  7. 1 tsp baking powder
  8. 1/8 cup milk
  9. A pinch of yellow colour
  10. (crumble topping) 1/4+1/8 cup flour
  11. 1/4+1/8 cup powdered sugar
  12. 30 gram butter 1/4 cup dessicated coconut
  13. Mango slices for decoration (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all the crumble items in a plate.
  2. Another plate take all the cake ingredients.
  3. Take a 9" glass bowl of desire shape.
  4. Sift flour and baking powder and keep saprete.
  5. In a bowl beat eggs and sugar till light and fluffy.
  6. Add essence and oil and mix well.
  7. Add flour and milk to mixture and beat well to get a thick batter.
  8. Add yellow colour and mix well.
  9. Spread mixture into the prepared pan.
  10. For the crumble topping, mix all the ingredients in a jar and blend until fine, crumbly and well mixed . ( Do not over mix).
  11. Top cake mixture with half the mangoes, sprinkle with half the crumble topping.
  12. Repeat the remaining mangoes and crumble topping.
  13. Bake it in a preheated oven at 160 degree for 1 hour.
  14. After 1 hour insert knife in center of cake.
  15. If it comes out clean , remove from oven.
  16. Cool cake in a pan.
  17. Remove from pan.
  18. Decorate with Mango slices and cherries, if you like .
