Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 4 cups All Purpose Flour
  2. 1 tbsp Honey
  3. 2 tesp yeast
  4. 6 Tbsp soft butter
  5. 2 Eggs
  6. 1 3/4 tesp salt
  7. 1 cup warm water
  8. 1 tesp chopped corriander leaves
  9. 1 beaten egg to brush
  10. I tbsp butter to apply on baked bread

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine warm water yeast and honey,let set for 5 minutes.
  2. To it add all purpose flour,salt,eggs and butter.
  3. Mix knead for 10 minute to a soft dough.
  4. Shape the dough round apply oil all over and place in a oiled bowl,covered with cling wrap.
  5. Wait for it to double in size.
  6. In the mean time prepare minced chicken filling to your taste,a little dry and not soggy.Let cool completely.
  7. Punch the dough place it on a lined baking sheet or tray
  8. Roll the dough to a rectangle 10" ×14"
  9. Make a marking on the rolled dough to 3 parts lengthwise equally.
  10. Add the filling in the middle portion
  11. Make 1" width slit on either sides
  12. Fold one slit over the other alternatively,till the end.
  13. Seal the edges of the braided dough
  14. Set aside for 10 minutes
  15. Preheat oven 180℃ for 10 minutes
  16. Brush with egg and bake at 170℃ for 30 minutes
  17. Remove brush with remaining beaten egg , garnish with coriander leaves, place back in oven on broil mode for 5 minutes or till golden brown.
  18. Remove brush with butter let cool a bit and have a slice.
