Marinate fish pieces with turmeric powder, pepper powder and salt. Keep aside for 10 minute. Later shallow fry it.
In another broad pan add oil. Saute onion, ginger garlic paste, curryleaves and green chillies.
When it attains a light brown shade, add sliced tomatoes and saute for a while.
Add little coriander powder, a pinch of garam masala and salt. Place the slightly fried fish pieces.
Next add the second milk of cocunut.. The watery one. Bring to a boil and reduce the flame.
Allow it to get cooked for 10 -15minutes. Finally add the thick fresh coconut milk, round sliced tomatoes, coriander leaves, salt, black pepper powder and fenugreek powder. Don't stir with spoon just rotate vessel. So that the gravy gets a mix. Heat it slightly and don't allow to boil.
Best served with appam, bread etc..
