These is a new version of regular kachori, crispy outside tasty inside. Curd has given a tangy flavour so it tastes well without a chutney

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 1/2 cup rawa or suji [semolina]
  2. 1 cup curd
  3. 1 onion chopped
  4. 2 boiled potatoes
  5. 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  6. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  7. 5 Curry Leaves
  8. 1 green chilly chopped
  9. 1 tsp cumin powder
  10. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  11. 1 tsp coriander leaves
  12. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  13. 1 tsp Lemon juice
  14. Salt to taste
  15. 1 cube grated cheese
  16. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Take rawa, curd, soda, salt in a bowl and mix well. If required add some water and knead a dough. Rest it for 5 minutes.
  2. In the meanwhile, take oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, onion, curry leaves , chilly and let it turn brown.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 5 minutes.
  4. Mash potato and add into the pan with some cumin powder, turmeric powder , coriander powder, salt and mix well.
  5. Finally squeeze some lemon juice and add coriander leaves.
  6. Divide this into small balls , stuff some cheese and then press to form a patty. cover it with the rawa dough and roll the kachori in dry roasted rawa.
  7. Deep fry till golden brown and remove on a tissue paper. Serve hot.
