ABOUT Bread rolls RECIPE

Easy eggless bread rolls, which can be served with just some butter for breakfast or teamed up with some curry for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Refined flour 250gm
  2. Yeast 5gm
  3. Salt 5gm
  4. Sugar 10gm
  5. Milk 50ml
  6. Water 120-125ml
  7. Refined oil 15ml

Instructions

  1. Mix salt in flour.
  2. On other side mix sugar and yeast in luke warm milk.
  3. Keep it for 5-10 min.
  4. Then mix it in flour and kneed it properly
  5. Add 70-80% of water at a time
  6. Kneed it properly to form glutin strands
  7. Chek it with taking small piece and streching it slowly if a thin film is formed then it done if not then kneed it again
  8. If done then add refined oil
  9. Kneed it properly
  10. Roll it and put for First proofing for 15-20min by covering it check that there are no cracks on it
  11. Take it out and knock back the dough and remove the air from the dough by pressing it
  12. Again Roll it and put for second proofing for 15-20min by covering it and check that there are no cracks on it
  13. Again knock back the dough
  14. Cut the dough in eight portions
  15. Roll them and place them on a greesed tray with no cracks on them
  16. Put it for third proofing for 15-20min
  17. Apply some milk wash on them for shine
  18. Put them in oven for 15-20min at 220°c
  19. Take them out and cool them
  20. And serve with butter.
