1 tsp garam masala
1/4 cup cashew powder
4-5 tsp oil
Seekh sticks 15
Salt to taste
Oats for binding
Instructions
First boil the potatoes, then after its cooled, mash it and keep aside.
Then roast the oats and grind it to a powder form. Also cut all the veggies and finely chop them.
Than take a pan, put in 2 tsp oil to heat, once it is hot put in the shahi jeera. Saute and put in the green chilli and ginger paste. Put in all the veggies one by one and saute it for 2 mins till it becomes dry. Then let it cool.
Take another pan, put in 1/4 cup of water and keep it on a high flame to boil. When the water is boiled, put in the powdered oats and stir it continually till it becomes thick. Now turn off the gas and keep it aside to cool.
Once both of these mixtures are cooled, take a big bowl, put in the mashed potatoes and cooked oats (if you don't add cooked oats, you can add roasted powder oats) then add all the veggies.
Next, add the garam masala, cashew powder and salt, then mix it neatly. Make a hard dough from these Ingredients, if your dough becomes watery then the kabab won't be made well so do take care.
When the boiled potatoes cool completely, then along the veggies and stir fry on the pan till its water is dry, Also when you cook the oats, don't keep too much water for boiling or the oats may become very sticky.
Now your dough is ready, take the sticks and take some portion of the dough to stick on these sticks as shown in recipe picture. Follow this process for all the sticks.
Roast it on a tawa with a little bit of oil on all sides. Serve them hot!
