Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mutton chops 750 gms
  2. Dahi 250 gm
  3. Raw papaya paste 2tbsp
  4. Ginger paste 2tsp
  5. Garlic paste 4tsp
  6. Red chilli powder 1.5 tsp
  7. Coriander powder 2tbsp
  8. Green cardamom 4
  9. Black cardamom 1
  10. Javitri 1 small
  11. Jaiphal 1/4
  12. Jeera 1tsp
  13. Black pepper 10 ..15
  14. Khus Khus 1tbsp
  15. Coconut powder 1 tbsp
  16. Onion 2 sliced
  17. Desi ghee 4 tbsp
  18. Oil 4 tbsp
  19. Coal 1
  20. Kewra 2tsp
  21. Salt

Instructions

  1. Wash the chops properly
  2. Beat curd and add ginger garlic paste ,papaya paste,salt,red chilli powder ,coriander powder
  3. Marinate chops in above mixture
  4. Grind all the garam masala with water and add in the marinated chops
  5. Leave overnight or 4 -5 hours
  6. Heat oil and ghee together
  7. Add sliced onions
  8. When golden brown take it out
  9. Add chops with marination
  10. Cook slowly covered for 40 min and then add brown onion paste Cook till soft and ghee starts floating
  11. Heat coal
  12. When red put in a small katori inside the pan of chops
  13. Add I tsp ghee and leave covered for half an hour
  14. Add kewra and serve hot
