Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup rawa
  2. 1 large onion
  3. 1 tomato
  4. 3-4 curry leaves
  5. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  6. 1 tsp urad dal
  7. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  8. 1 green chilly chopped
  9. 1 pinch sugar
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Dry roast rawa on a tawa or kadai and remove.
  2. In a pan heat oil and add mustard seeds and urad dal. Let it splutter and add green chilly, curry leaves .
  3. Next add chopped onion and let it turn golden. Add some salt which will shrink the onion. Add tomato and mix it well.
  4. Add turmeric powder and the rawa. Stir it continuously.
  5. Add water and cover till rawa absorbs all water and rises in size.
  6. Squeeze some lemon juice ans garnish with coriander leaves and lemon wedge. Serve hot.
