Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1/2 kg mutton with bone.
  2. 3 medium onion chopped finely
  3. 2 tesp ginger garlic paste
  4. 3 ripe tomato chopped
  5. 2 tbsp chopped corriander leaf
  6. 2 to 3 green chilli slit
  7. Chopped mint leaf 4 tbsp
  8. salt as per taste
  9. Red chilli powder 2 tesp
  10. Corriander powder 3 tesp
  11. 1/2 tesp turmeric powder
  12. Oil 4 tbsp
  13. Water 1 1/2 Cup
  14. Seasoning : 1" cinamom stick,4 cloves,3 cardamom, 2" bay leaf slit,chopped cashew 1 tbsp and 1 tesp saunf.
  15. Coconut paste : 1/2 cup grated coconut, 10 badham soaked in 1/4 cup hot water.

Instructions

  1. Place pressure cooker on medium heat.Add oil when hot add in the seasoning ingredients.
  2. Now add onion and saute till light brown,to it add ginger garlic paste and slit chilli, stir for 1minute. Add tomatoes, chopped coriander and mint leaf, stir fry for 2 minutes. Add mutton and stir,to it add turmeric,chilli, coriander powder and salt stir to mix well.Add water and pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistle. Make a paste of coconut and badham.
  3. When the pressure has subsidized,remove cover , keep on medium heat,as it boils add the coconut paste,let simmer for 10 minutes.If it's thick you can add a little water.Mutton kurma is ready.
  4. It's taste nice with hot rice, side dish for idli, dosai, poori etc.
