ABOUT Tawa Fried Capsicum Bhajji RECIPE

People won't like to have more oil content, so I tried to fry capsicum bhajji on hot tawa and got success. It is so tasty and healthy snacks by using leftover fermented dosa batter and some gram flour with some oil.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Gram flour 1/4 cup
  2. Leftover dosa batter 1/2 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Ajwain 1 tsp
  5. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Capsicum stripes 6-8
  7. Water
  8. Cooking oil 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. GRAM FLOUR 1/4 CUP, LEFTOVER FERMENTED DOSA BATTER 1/2 CUP
  2. SALT TO TASTE, RED CHILLI POWDER, AJWAIN
  3. MIX WELL, ADD SUFFICIENT WATER
  4. DIP LONG STRIPES OF CAPSICUM IN THICK BATTER
  5. HEAT TAVA, SPREAD 2 TSP OF COOKING OIL
  6. FRY EACH STRIPES SEPARATELY IN LOW FLAME
  7. FOLD THE EXCESS BATTER ON CAPSICUM AFTER FEW SECONDS
  8. FOLD BOTH THE SIDES
  9. SPRINKLE SOME OIL, FLIP, PRESS AND COOK BOTH THE SIDES EVENLY
  10. CHECK THE COOKNESS
  11. REMOVE, FRY THE REMAINING AND SERVE IN HOT
