Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Dosa batter ( add 1 cup flattened rice while grinding batter ) . Well fermented batter 1 cup
  2. Salt is already added to the batter so adjust salt accordingly
  3. Medium sized onion finely sliced 1
  4. Small sized capsicum ( any colour ) julienned 1
  5. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Black pepper powder to taste
  8. Green chillies ( optional)
  9. Garam Masala ( optional )
  10. Garam Masala , green chillies not included in this recipe as it is prepared for kid.
  11. Tomato ketchup 1 tablespoon
  12. Kids cheese / mozzarella cheese as preferred
  13. Oil 1 .5 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take one cup well fermented dosa batter .
  2. Grind regular dosa batter with poha added to it . Poha is mandatory for this recipe .
  3. Heat one tablespoon oil in a pan . Add finely sliced 1 medium sized onion. .
  4. Add 1 small sized red capsicum julienned. Use any coloured capsicum of your choice .
  5. Sauté quickly under medium heat .
  6. Add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  7. Add salt and pepper to taste . Green chillies and Garam Masala are optional .
  8. Add 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup . Mix , Sauté for a minute . Remove from the heat . Keep aside .
  9. Heat a pan . Pour 1/4 ladle dosa batter into 1 mini dosa . Likewise another mini dosa in opposite .
  10. Smear oil . Maintain a medium flame to get soft puffy dosas . Cover the pan for a minute .
  11. When the lower side is partially cooked , fill a dosa with 2 tablespoons capsicum masala .
  12. Add grated cheese on top of the capsicum masala .
  13. Close this capsicum filled dosa with the plain dosa .Just like sandwich .Gently press with spatula.
  14. Cover the pan again for a minute for the cheese to melt, get sandwiched. Transfer to a plate .
  15. Similarly cook rest of the dosa sandwiches . r
  16. Spread cheese on top of the hot dosa sandwich for making it super yummy .Serve hot .
  17. Pack this healthy dosa sandwich in kid ‘s tiffin box too . Stays soft .
  18. Enjoy !
