It is a pithas that widely made in villages. village grandmas love to make this for their family on festives. Locally it is called 'mas pakwan'. It is so mouth watering that everyone should love it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Filling: oil 1/2 tbs
  2. Fish 1/2 large pcs
  3. Onion 1/3 cup
  4. Ginger. 1 TSP
  5. Green chilli 3 pcs
  6. Cumin powder 1/4 tsp
  7. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Coriander powder. 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt as to taste.
  10. Green coriander leaves 1/3 cups.
  11. Dough: Flour 1 cup
  12. Salt 1/4 tsp
  13. Sugar 1/4 tsp
  14. Oil 1 tsp
  15. Water as needed
  16. Rice flour 2 tbs
  17. Oil for frying.
  18. Cloves

Instructions

  1. BOIL FISH WITH SALT AND PINCH OF TARMARIC POWDER.
  2. FLACKS OUT FISH.
  3. ADD 1/2 TBS OIL &1/3 CUP OF ONION.
  4. ADD 1 TSP CHOPPED GINGER.
  5. ADD 3 CHOPPED GREEN CHILLI.
  6. ADD 1/4 TSP CUMIN POWDER.
  7. ADD 1/2 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER.
  8. ADD 1/2 TSP CORIANDER POWDER.
  9. ADD 1/2 CUP SHREDDED POTATO.
  10. ADD SALT AS TO TASTE.
  11. ADD FISH FLAKES.
  12. ADD CORIANDER LEAVES.
  13. ADD LAMON JUICE.
  14. STIR WELL.
  15. LET IT COOK FOR 4/5 MINUTES.
  16. FILLING IS READY.
  17. IN A BOWL ADD 1 CUP OF ALL PURPOSE FLOUR.
  18. ADD 1/4 TSP SALT.
  19. ADD 1/2 TSP SUGAR.
  20. ADD 1 TSP OIL.
  21. ADD WATER AS NEEDED.
  22. ADD 2 TBS RICE FLOUR.
  23. MIX WELL.
  24. KNEDING WELL MAKE A SMOOTH DOUGH.
  25. MAKE SMALL BALLS WITH DOUGH.
  26. ROLL OUT LENGTHWISE.
  27. PUT FISH FILLING ON FLATTEN DOUGH.
  28. WITH A SHARP KNIFE CUT BOTH SIDE AS SHOWN
  29. BRUSH WATER.
  30. SEAL BOTH SIDE CREATING BRAID & MAKE FISH.
  31. SHAPE UP GISH TAIL.
  32. MAKE FISH EYE WITH CLOVES
  33. FISH STUFFED FISHES ARE WAITING FOR FRYING.
  34. FRY FISHES IN SUFFICIENT HOT OIL.
  35. FLIP THEM.
  36. ARRANGE FISHES IN SERVING PLATE.
  37. ENJOY WITH RED OR GREEN SAUCE.
