Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. For the Dosa Batter
  2. 4 slices Bread
  3. ¼ cup samolina
  4. ¼ cup Rice Flour
  5. ¼ cup Curd
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 3/4 cup water
  8. For Potato Bhaji
  9. 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  10. 1 tsp Urad dal
  11. 1 tsp Channa Dal
  12. 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  13. 1 tsp mustard seeds
  14. 2 Kashmiri chilli
  15. 4-6 curry leaves
  16. 1 Onion sliced
  17. 1 green chilli chopped
  18. 1 tsp ginger
  19. Pinch of asafoetida
  20. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  21. 1.5 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  22. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. TRIM THE EDGES OF 4 BREAD SLICES
  2. IN A MIXER JAR, ADD 4 BREAD SLICES, 1/4 CUP SAMOLINA, 1/4 CUP CURD,
  3. 1/4 CUP RICE FLOUR, SALT TO TASTE AND 3/4 CUP OF WATER
  4. GRIND INTO A SMOOTH BATTER, TRANSFER IN A BOWL AND KEEP ASIDE FOR 15 MINUTES
  5. FOR POTATO BHAJI- HEAT 2 TBSP OIL
  6. ADD PINCH OF ASAFOETIDA, 1 TSP EACH OF URAD DAL, CHANA DAL AND CUMIN SEEDS
  7. 1 TSP EACH OF MUSTARD SEEDS, CURRY LEAVES AND GREEN CHILLI
  8. 1 TSP GINGER PASTE, SALT TO TASTE, 1/4 TSP TURMERIC POWDER, COOK FOR 1 MINUTE
  9. ADD 2 DRIED RED CHILLY, 1 SLICED ONION AND COOK FOR 2 MINUTES
  10. ADD 1.5 CUP OF BOILED AND MASHED POTATOES, 2 TBSP EACH OF CORIANDER LEAVES AND WATER. COOK FOR 2 MINUTES.
  11. POTATO BHAJI IS READY
  12. SPREAD THE DOSA BATTER ON MEDIUM HOT TAVA
  13. APPLY OIL OVER THE DOSA & LET IT CRISP UP
  14. SPREAD THE POTATO BHAJI OVER THE DOSA & FOLD IT.
  15. SERVE WITH HOT SAMBAR AND CHUTNEY
