  1. For strawberry salsa:
  2. Strawberries 1 cup
  3. Onion 1 small
  4. Green chilli 1
  5. Fresh coriander 2 tbsp
  6. Roasted Cumin Powder 1/2 Tsp
  7. Sugar 1/2 tsp
  8. Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
  9. Salt
  10. For Nachos:
  11. Maize flour 3/4 cup
  12. Wheat flour 1/4 cup
  13. Salt
  14. Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
  15. oil 2 tbsp
  16. Beetroot-1 small(boiled and pureed)
  17. For cheesy dip:
  18. Milk 1/2 cup
  19. Cheese cube/slice 2
  20. Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  21. Oregano 1/2 tsp
  22. Chilli flakes 1/2 tsp
  23. Salt

Instructions

  1. TAKE 3/4 CUP MAIZE FLOUR AND 1/4 CUP WHEAT FLOUR IN A MIXING BOWL.
  2. ADD SALT AND 1/4 TSP CAROM SEEDS.
  3. ADD 2 TBSP OIL AND 1 SMALL BEETROOT PUREED.
  4. MIX EVERYTHING AND KNEAD A SEMISOFT DOUGH.
  5. APPLY LITTLE OIL AND COVER AND KEEP ASIDE.
  6. TO PREPARE STRAWBERRY SALSA TAKE 1 CUP FINELY CHOPPED STRAWBERRIES .
  7. ADD 1 SMALL ONION FINELY CHOPPED,1 GREEN CHILLI AND 2 TBSP CORIANDER.
  8. ADD 1/2 TSP ROASTED CUMIN POWDER ,1/2 TSP SUGAR AND SALT.
  9. MIX EVERYTHING LIGHTLY MASHING SIMULTANEOUSLY.
  10. ADD 1/2 TSP LEMON JUICE.MIX WELL.SALSA IS READY.KEEP IN FRIDGE FOR 30 MINUTES.
  11. TO PREPARE CHEESY DIP TAKE 1/2 CUP MILK AND 2 CHEESE CUBES-GRATED.
  12. ADD 1/2 TSP BLACK PEPPER POWDER,1/2 TSP OREGANO AND 1/2 TSP CHILLI FLAKES.
  13. ADD SALT AND STIR ON LOW GAS TILL IT BECOMES THICK AND CHEESE MELTS.REMOVE IN BOWL AND COOL.
  14. TO PREPARE NACHOS TAKE A LEMON SIZED BALL OF DOUGH AND ROLL INTO A THIN CIRCLE.
  15. PRICK WITH FORK ALL OVER.
  16. WITH A HEART SHAPED COOKIE CUTTER CUT NACHOS.
  17. YOU CAN ALSO MAKE REGULAR TRIANGULAR NACHOS.
  18. HEAT OIL AND FRY THESE NACHOS IN MEDIUM TO LOW FLAME TILL THEY BECOME CRISP.
  19. SEE THE LOVELY HEART NACHOS ARE READY.
