ABOUT Fried Sushi Pasta with a twist RECIPE

Fried Sushi Pasta is completely tried in my own style. For original Nori sheets I used Pasta sheets to roll Sushi. Chicken strips, beans and peas are used along with ordinary normal rice. It's a complete make over of original Sushi. Top layer is crispy, middle with mushy rice and crunchy vegetables and spicy chicken strips. Totally a different and exotic taste which can be prepared at home with regular ingredients. Love for cooking and innovation can do wonders. Must try by all.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Pasta sheets 3
  2. Beans 5
  3. Carrot 2
  4. Peas 1/4 cup
  5. Boiled mushy rice 1/2cup
  6. Chicken strips 6
  7. For chicken marination
  8. Chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Curry powder 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Garam masala powder 1/4 teaspoon
  11. Turmeric powder 2pinch
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Egg 1
  14. Pepper powder for egg 1 /4 teaspoon
  15. Salt to taste
  16. For mushy rice
  17. Cornflour 1/4 teaspoon
  18. Salt to taste
  19. Bread crumbs 1/2cup
  20. Oil for frying
  21. Readymade ketchup for accompaniment

Instructions

  1. BOIL BEANS AND FRESH GREEN PEAS IN BOILING WATER.
  2. WHEN IT'S HALF DONE ADD LITTLE SALT TO IT.
  3. MEAN TIME COOK LITTLE RICE WITH MORE WATER.
  4. WHEN BEANS AND PEAS ARE BOILED, SWITCH OFF FLAME.
  5. DRAIN WATER AND KEEP BEANS AND PEAS ASIDE.
  6. CUT CHICKEN BREAST INTO LONG STRIPS AND MIX IT WITH CHILLI, GARAM MASALA, CURRY, TURMERIC AND SALT.
  7. LET IT MARINATE FOR FEW MINUTES.
  8. FRY THE CHICKEN STRIPS IN HOT OIL.
  9. TRANSFER FRIED CHICKEN STRIPS ON TO TISSUE PAPER.
  10. RICE IS WELL COOKED AND LOOKS MUSHY.
  11. ADD SALT TO TASTE.
  12. ADD LITTLE CORNFLOUR AND MIX WELL.
  13. ADD SALT AND PEPPER TO ONE WHOLE EGG AND MIX WELL.
  14. INGREDIENTS FOR FRIED SUSHI WITH A TWIST ARE READY.
  15. LAST THING TO BE DONE IS TO BOIL PASTA SHEET IN HOT WATER FOR FEW MINUTES.
  16. ONCE DONE STRAIN WATER AND KEEP IT ASIDE. LET IT COOL.
  17. A MAT WITH A CLING WRAP ON TOP IS READY TO WRAP UP THE SUSHI.
  18. PLACE PASTA SHEET ON MAT AND SPREAD MUSHY RICE ON TOP.
  19. SPREAD MUSHY RICE EVENLY ON PASTA SHEET.PLACE BOILED BEAN ON TOP.
  20. ADD BOILED PEAS AND CARROT AS SHOWN.
  21. PLACE FRIED CHICKEN STRIP.
  22. ROLL THE MAT TIGHTLY. PASTA SHEET ALONG WITH THE CLING FILM GETS ROLLED WELL.
  23. IT'S PERFECTLY ROLLED.
  24. REMOVE THE CLING FILM AND PLACE IT ON A PLATE.EGG MIXTURE AND BREAD CRUMBS ARE READY.
  25. EGG WASH SUSHI PASTA WELL AND ROLL IT ON BREAD CRUMBS. MAKE SURE CRUMBS ARE COATED WELL.
  26. SUSHI PASTA IS READY TO BE FRIED IN MEDIUM HOT OIL.
  27. HEAT OIL IN A WOK AND FRY PATIENTLY FOR 6 TO 7 MINUTES.
  28. FRIED SUSHI PASTA IS READY. TRANSFER IT ON A TISSUE PAPER TO ABSORB OIL. OIL ABSORPTION IS VERY LESS
  29. WHOLE FRIED SUSHI PASTA IS READY TO SERVE WITH KETCHUP.
  30. WHOLE FRIED SUSHI PASTA CAN BE CUT INTO DESIRED PIECES TOO. ALL THE STUFFINGS ARE INTACT.
  31. BEAUTIFUL CROSS SECTION OF FRIED SUSHI PASTA WITH A TWIST WILL ATTRACT EVERYONE WITHOUT ANY DOUBT.
